Public service bus companies are urged to desist from the practice since most aliens are helped by transporters to unlawfully traverse various parts of the country using the PSV vehicles.

This comes at a time when five suspects believed to have originated from the Dagahaley refugee camp in Garissa County, were intercepted by patrol police en route to Nairobi. The arrested suspects included three men, a woman and a six year old boy, all who did not have legal travel documents.

Just weeks ago, another group of twelve Ethiopian aliens were arrested in the county, and are now awaiting to be repatriated to their home country later this week.

However, Isiolo police boss, Charles Ontita confirmed that they were closely working with their colleagues from Mandera and Garissa counties and the immigration offices to ensure aliens do not enter the country through the porous borders.
