[Photo|Parliament of Kenya]The Joint Select Committee on Election Related Laws is from Tuesday, October 3, slated to conduct public hearings in Parliament buildings.The meeting would see them review the already submitted memoranda by the members of the public and other interested institutions, in regards to the Election Laws (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 39 of 2017) and the Election Offences (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 38 of 2017).The Bills have already been read for the first time in Parliament.Jubilee MPs proposed the amendments, which have been opposed by the Opposition's NASA, MPs.
