The fake doctor, Mugo wa Wairimu has been freshly charged.
The doctor came into the limelight after it was said that he drugs his female women and rapes them.
The doctor’s evil deeds were captured on a secret CCTV camera that had been amounted in his clinic without him noticing. He was charged for committing twelve deeds against the law. That is rape, operating the clinic without government license and posing as a gynaecologist yet he was not. He had also hired unqualified lab technicians and used unknown drugs.
Mugo had a pharmacy but had no valid license from the Pharmacy and Poison’s Board. He had two clinics one in Githurai and another one in Zimmerman.
The Pharmacy and Poisons board also say the increment of fake doctor cases is an issue that needs to be addressed as quickly as possible.
The board earlier in the year conducted an abrupt check in some Eastland parts of Nairobi and arrested individuals who were running chemists without valid license.
