A quack doctor who arrested for practicing medicine without qualification has been released on bond.

Ronald Kiprotich Melly was released on a Sh500,000bond after he pleaded not guilty on Friday to the four charges leveled against him.

Melly who was arrested in Nairobi on Monday faced three charges namely; forgery of documents, using the title doctor without being licensed or registered and lastly was impersonation of a medical officer.

The case will be mentioned on December 13th.

Mr. Melly had posed as a medicine graduate from the University of Nairobi, a claim the university denied. 

The institution stated that he was never admitted as a student and therefore never trained at the institution.
