Parents of a middle-aged man  were left in shock after their son committed suicide at their home in Maraigushu village in Naivasha. The 28-year-old man had allegedly gone to his parents home to seek help on a certain matter but left in a huff.

The area chief, Peter Irungu, confirmed the incident.

"The parents of the deceased don't know what drove the young man to take away his life. They were only treated to a body hanging from a tree in front of their house after a neighbour raised alarm. Police have launched investigations into the matter," said Irungu.
