Questions are being raised on the credibility of ODM primaries in Kilifi after after it emerged that the winners were secretly issued with nomination certificates.
Reports indicate that after undertaking the primaries on Saturday, winners were secretly awarded their certificates on Sunday in Kilifi town.
Observers and party supporters converged at the ODM headquarters to attend the certificate issuing ceremony were shocked after they saw photos of the candidates receiving the certificates at an undisclosed venue.
First to be issued the certificate was Women Rep Aisha Jumwa who is going for the Malindi MP seat.
“This raises eyebrows. How on earth are certificates being issued on the beach yet the party has an office?” said a supporter as quoted by the Star.
