A new treport by the Auditor General Edward Ouko indicates that the Judiciary has failed to account for Sh3 billion.
The report indicates that the money was lost through dubious payment of bill.
It is alleged that some contractors were paid for unfinished construction and a number of fake pending bills worth millions of funds in the Judiciary.
Ouko noted that recently there were questions around Sh1.3 billion construction of courts across the country.
Dr Ouko further maintained that there were Sh722 million fictitious payments and expenditures in the financial statements that could not be confirmed.
The report further reveals that payment totalling to Sh552 million was not supported with vouchers.
The audit review of eight construction projects at various stations valued at Sh1 billion financed by judiciary revealed that the construction projects were being undertaken on parcels of land that have no title deeds.
The judiciary is yet to respond to the report by Ouko.
