The unjust and unconstitutional detention and deportation of the outspoken lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna has raised some unanswered questions.
It is very unfortunate that a Kenyan citizen can undergo the frustrating ordeal that the entire world witnessed the self-declared NRM general go through in the 21st century.
How can a Kenyan citizen by birth, in possession of a valid Kenyan ID card be treated like an illegal immigrant who is perceived to be stateless with an unknown identity?
How did the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government administer him with a Kenyan ID if he is not a Kenyan citizen? And to think that the IEBC cleared him to run for a gubernatorial seat in the very same country he is perceived not to belong to also brings a myriad of questions.
How is it that the former Nairobi county gubernatorial aspirant was cleared by the IEBC to vie for the seat if he is not a Kenyan citizen? Is there someone perpetuating the continuous Miguna’s fiasco for personal political gain?
If the government is right about Miguna’s citizenry, why are the officials in contempt of court despise several court orders? This poses a picture of a government that resorts to force and mistreat its own people who expresses their discomfort with the regime.
