Former Kwale Women Representative Zainab Chidzuga now wants NASA leader Raila Odinga to quit active politics following his withdrawal from the October 26 repeat presidential election.The former ODM MP said Raila’s withdrawal from the repeat poll is a sign that he is too old and tired for politics.Speaking to journalists in Kwale Town on Wednesday, Chidzuga who lost the women rep seat in the August 8 general election said Raila’s political career has come to an end and he cannot run away from it.She accused Odinga of holding the country hostage despite losing in the August 8 presidential election which was nullified by the Supreme Court.“Raila Odinga should now go home peacefully because his time in active politics is over,” she told journalists on Wednesday.Chidzuga said the country’s economy is suffering because of Odinga’s alleged malicious political tactics.The former Women Rep asked Kenyans to ignore the opposition’s weekly protests and focus on building the country.She also appealed to Kenyans to come out and vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta on October 26.Raila pulled out of the repeat presidential election on Tuesday, claiming that IEBC and Jubilee are opposed to electoral reforms.The NASA leader said that he “cannot participate in a repeat election whose results are already predetermined in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta”.
