Speaking in response to Joho’s claims that Jubilee will not win any seat in the coastal region, Mung’aro said that Joho is a daydreamer.

The MP said it will not be easy for Joho to retain his seat in the next general polls, because Jubilee leaders from the region are out to dethrone him.

"Tell Joho that he is daydreaming. He does not own Coast. He does not have the votes of the people in his pockets,” said Mung’aro, as quoted by The Star.

Mung’aro said the coastal region is no longer willing to continue being in the opposition.

"Dreaming about Coast people being in the opposition their whole lives is just daydreaming," he added.

Mung’aro further said that the electorate takes part in polls with the intentions of forming the next government and not running to join the opposition.

“We are not going to sit and encourage our people to vote for the opposition. People go to the elections to form the government, not to be in the opposition," he said.
