Speaking during the launch of Jubilee's smart card at Kasarani stadium, Murkomen said President Kenyatta has an impressive performance record, adding that no one should ask him to account for the same in public rallies.

"Uhuru has a record that cannot be matched. We are a party that has vision. In this nation, we must hold everyone to account," he said, as quoted by the Star.

The Senator urged Joho to stop lecturing the Head of State.

He claimed the governor has no academic papers yet he wants to hold the national government accountable for the problems facing his county.

“Some of our competitors have no papers. Instead of being accountable to the people, you insult the President as a shield for your bad record," said Murkomen.

This comes after Joho accused Uhuru of taking credit for projects initiated by past regimes and funded by international organisations.
