Raila is expected to wrestle it out with Jubilee Party’s Uhuru Kenyatta in the much anticipated general election which has seen political realignments in both the government and opposition.

And now the Wiper MP said Monday Raila’s glittering political career should end by supporting a different candidate to avoid embarrassment from the Jubilee regime.

“I love Raila as my political mentor and I want him to leave a lasting legacy for many years to come. I want him to avoid an embarrassment because you may not know what Jubilee plans for him again,” he said.

“He has been the best politician in the recent years and we must also ensure he exits well from politics. We have leaders like Hassan Joho and many more in Cord who can carry the mantle and deliver the country from bad governance,” he said.

Asked whether he will supporting Cord or Jubilee, Momanyi insisted that the time for party politics will come and will not hesitate to announce his stand.

“This is not the right time when someone asks me which coalition I support. I am in Wiper for now and I will support the side which my people will direct me. What is important, though, I want to see my coalition leader quit politics and support emerging leaders,” he said.
