Kuria accused the Cord co-principal of making the allegations to win political mileage and undermine Jubilee’s resilience to end graft in the country.

"Raila made the allegations just to win political mileage. Our competition should be based on facts and not fabrications and fairy tales," Kuria said.

He also accused the opposition leader of having double standards in the fight against graft by protecting his own allies when he was in government.

Kuria vowed to resign from office if reports about the mass theft at the Afya House are proven true.

Speaking on Citizen TV’s Sunday Live news segment, Kuria said that reports about mass corruption at the Ministry of Health– reports that have linked President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sister and cousin to the alleged theft of public money – are baseless.
