The race for Kwale governorship has gained momentum, as the elections date, August, 8, nears.
Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka led a campaign, seeking the people's support, towards his area gubernatorial candidate, Chirau Ali Mwakwere (Zipapa), over the weekend.
They addressed residents in Kinango during day one of their two day tour of the county, accompanied by Zipapa, party secretary general Mombasa senator Hassan Omar, alongside other leaders and aspirants.
Zipapa called on Kwale locals to vote governor Salim Mvurya out, saying he had failed them, five years since he took power.
Kalonzo said their agenda was to transform the nation and bring prosperity to all Kenyans irrespective of their political, social, religious or tribal background.
They vowed to stick to the Nasa coalition, saying they were sure of capturing the leadership from incumbent Jubilee.
