[Photo: Courtesy]As the race for August 8 general elections gains momentum, top rival coalitions, Nasa and Jubilee have continued to lure supporters.The National Super Aliance led by Presidential candidate Raila Odinga is currently in Makueni county, lower Eastern region, an area perceived to be its stronghold, with presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka pulling massive support from the region.Nasa landed at Mtito Andei, Saturday afternoon, where Raila, Kalonzo, Musalia Mudavadi, Junet Muhammed alongside local leaders addressed supporters in a roadside rally.The tour comes a day after the brigade pitched tent in Coastal region counties.On the other hand, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto's Jubilee Party are currently in Uasin Gishu county.The region is known to be Jubilee's stronghold, given that Ruto commands wide support, since that is his home county.The team is in Kapseret constituency, whose MP is Oscar Sudi, a Jubilee lawmaker that is seeking re-election.
They are accompanied by governor Jackson Mandago alongside other local Jubilee leaders.
