The race for Kabete Parliamentary seat continues to gain momentum even before the nominations are held.
Aspirants are using all means to entice voters with allegations that some are dishing out huge amounts of money.
James Githua, an aspirant who before announcing his candidature for Kabete seat has been equipping public schools with modern jikos, launched the program at Rokobi Primary School, Kabete.
Githua said that the program will help a big way in improving education in the area.
"This program will help our children a lot especially the primary ones who go hungry during lunch hour and therefore they are unable to learn," said Githua.
He has now appealed to Kabete voters to consider him promising to complete all of George Muchai's programs and initiate new ones.
Rokobi Primary School fraternity was all joy saying that it will enhance the feeding program.
"Children will now be eating warm food unlike before when they had to feed on cold meals that they come with from home," said the school headmaster.
JAP Nominations are set for March 13, where competition is expected to be tough with 20 aspirants in the race.
