A remorseful wife to Deputy President William Ruto, Ms Rachael Ruto, has sensationally apologized on behalf of Jubilee government over a number of challenges the country is facing.
With only two months to elections, Jubilee administration is fighting to cleanse itself from unfulfilled promises, drought and hunger among other challenges.
And Ms Ruto says the government may have not satisfied everyone but still that was room for improvement if given another chance.
“I am standing before you as a servant of God and wife to Deputy President and I want to apologize on behalf of the government,” she said.
She added:” There are a lot of challenges such as acute shortage of food, draught that people may have wanted before but we couldn’t manage as you expected. Kindly forgive us.”
She was visiting Laikipia County, a region which has been worst hit by drought and internal conflicts between locals and settlers.
The soft spoken lady said Jubilee would improve the country’s economy if given another chance and urged Kenyans to pray for the country’s top leadership.
