William Ruto's wife lead prayers to cleanse Salgaa black spot on Wednesday after endless deadly accidents.

Rachael  led a host of religious leaders in praying at the Salgaa black spot on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway. This is after high casualty accidents, many of which have been deemed strange.

The group also poured anointing oil on three major black spots including the notorious Sachangwan area where at least 100 people died after an oil tanker exploded in 2009.

The DP's wife was accompanied by religious leaders from Eldoret, Nakuru and Nairobi. While addressing Salgaa residents, Rachael said churches should hold such prayer ceremonies more often, especially for newly-built roads. This is not the first time Kenyans converged at Salgaa to pray for the road.

Last year, a cross section of Salgaa residents converged at the accident blackspot and conducted special prayers in a bid to purifiy the Salgaa–Sachang'wan road.
