That was last year, few months before the two walked down the aisle on September 13 in a colorful event that Cord supremo graced the occasion.
Today marks the first anniversary after the former University of Nairobi students body secretary general who also aspires to run for Rongo parliamentary seat said "I do" to the flame of his life.
To celebrate or remember this special day in a memorable way, David Osiany took to his Facebook to describe the auspicious love-filled moment.
He wrote:
"I remember this day (13/09/15) like it was yesterday... I remember how the beauty of this day defied the pain of the pocket (😜 Don't tell Syombua).
It has been a beautiful year filled with joy, love, and sacrifices, especially by my wife Syombua, as I was mostly away in school right after our wedding. I'd do the same for her if she were to pursue her life goals in similar fashion.
Thanks for the overwhelming messages of happiness from all of you. We love you. Pray for us.
Yes, we just turned 1! 89 more to go".
Syombua hosts a gospel show on Sunday afternoon. She also presents Chapa Kazi alongside Joyce Wagituro on Radio Citizen.
