Renowned lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has hit out at National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga over his recent change of heart towards his co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.
In a tweet on Monday, the President Uhuru legal representative faulted Odinga's attitude towards the trio lately, terming it as ruthless.
He took issue with the veteran politician's silence and carefree attitude, at a time when his Orange Democratic Party (ODM) Senators have initiated a push to oust Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula from his Senate Minority Leader seat.
''Looks like all along that whereas Baba had mutual respect for UhuruRuto, he had nothing but deep contempt for his NASA co-principals...just look at how he is dealing with them ruthlessly...Wetangula's days as Senate Minority Leader numbered,'' said the counsel.
The former Prime Minister recently reached a peace agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta, a move that was condemned by the three, citing exclusion, despite being part and parcel of the opposition block.
Their calls for a new, all inclusive and better structured consultation have, however, landed on deaf ears with Odinga's quarters showing disinterest in their concerns.
Odinga has also remained non-committal on intervening to save Wetangula from his pending ouster.
