National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga is intending to take power through the back door, a former MP has said.Speaking on Monday, former Igembe North lawmaker Joseph M'Eruaki accused Raila of a scheme to throw the country into a crisis to sabotage the forthcoming October 26 fresh presidential election."He (Raila) wants to throw the IEBC, security forces and other key sectors into a state of confusion, hoping to exploit the situation to snatch power," he said, as quoted by The Standard. The former legislator added: "Raila knows in his heart that he stands no chance of beating President Uhuru in the repeat election. That is why he is introducing new conditions for him to participate in the poll."M'Eruaki told the former Prime Minister to stop calling for mass protests to force electoral reforms and concentrate on campaigning for his bid for presidency."The same Supreme Court that nullified Uhuru's win is the same court that tasked the electoral commission with conducting the repeat election and Raila must respect that ruling," the former MP added.Raila has maintained that no poll will be held if IEBC does not meet NASA's 'irreducible minimums'.
