This is after Odinga posted on his twitter account that many soldiers had died contrary to nine according to the government.

Speaking on Sunday during a church service, Dagoretti South lawmaker Dennis Waweru said that Odinga was using the incident to gain political millage.

"Some leaders are rejoicing in the attack instead of trying to protect our country from external attacks. He should stop that," Mr Waweru said.

On Friday morning, Shabbab fighters attacked a KDF camp in Kulbiyow where 9 soldiers lost their lives while 70 militants were killed.

Waweru was speaking in the company of other Jubilee leaders led by Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko.
