Odinga has refuted claims by the Jubilee administration that he is among individuals responsible for the downfall of Mumias Sugar Company.

According to Odinga, the Jubilee administration has failed to deliver its promises to the people and has resorted to shifting blame.

"They should also stop naming me in MSC because I am not responsible for the woes being experienced in the company," Odinga said.

The ODM party leader made the remarks at Siungu Beach in Bondo Sub-County on Saturday where he was inaugurated as a brave warrior by the Luo Council of Elders.

The former Premier further called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to iron out graft scandals in the country.

"The Jubilee administration has realized its failures to the people. Corruption has rocked the Jubilee government and all they do is blame others for their shortcomings. President Kenyatta and his Deputy Ruto should iron out corruption scandals in the government instead of blaming others," said Odinga.

This comes after a section of Jubilee administrators blamed Odinga of being insincere in the fight against graft in the country.
