The Leader of Majority at the National Assembly, Aden Duale, has slammed the Opposition leader Raila Odinga, over claims that the National Intelligence Service (NIS) was interfering with the second mass voter registration exercise.

Duale said Cord leader's claims were meant to distract Kenyans, after Cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka 'challenged' him and Moses Wetangula, to give him the presidential ticket.

"Also, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's challenge that he will play hard ball over the Cord ticket must have alarmed Raila so much that he had to look for a distraction,'' said Duale.

The Garissa Township MP indicated Raila was a worried man, over how to be the Opposition resdiential flag-bearer, hence 'tricks' to distract the public about Cord's dis-organisation.

"Last year, the ODM leader told the people of Kenya that only former IEBC commissioners stood between him and election victory. The commissioners have not only left, but they have also been replaced,'' he said.

Flanked by various Jubilee MPs, Duale said crying wolf wont help Raila.

"NIS has no role in voter registration or any other election matter. Jubilee does not need the help of anyone else except the people of Kenya,'' the lawmaker told the press, Wednesday, at Parliament buildings.
