National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga and other leaders of the opposition were asked to leave a prayer rally organized by Prophet Awuor at the Central Park, Tuko has reported.
The leaders of the opposition had just come from a church service at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi before they were asked to leave. Raila was accompanied by Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and other politicians aligned to NASA.
The followers of the prophet were celebrating the alleged resurrection of Mama Rosa, who hails from West Pokot region.
In the meantime, Raila has maintained that he will not concede defeat as hearing of the case at the Supreme Court continues. Raila has affirmed that nothing will stop Kenyans from reaching the Promised Land.
“We are assuring Kenyans that we shall get to Jerusalem and no force on earth will prevent the will of the people of Kenya from liberating themselves from the corruption, political oppression and deceit that has characterised the government of Jubilee in the last four-and-a-half years,” Raila said, as quoted by Star.
The former prime minister also said that Kenyans are going through one of the most difficult times because of poor leadership.
