A section of MCAs from Kilifi county have called on opposition party ODM to hand Women Rep Aisha Jumwa a direct ticket ahead of the August election.

According to the MCAs, Jumwa has shown loyalty to ODM leader Raila Odinga hence she deserves a direct ticket.

The leaders say Jumwa has been on the forefront of pushing the opposition party’s agenda and its only fair for her to reap where she has sowed.

Jumwa, a staunch opposition member, has in the past defended the stand of Raila on various issues touching the country.
