Amid speculations that Cord is on the verge of disintegration, Raila Odinga has come out to clearly make it that Wetangula is still strongly attached to the party.
Speaking in Kamukunji grounds on Saturday, Odinga assured the loyal party followers that the coalition is firm and intact and that challenges were normal in every aspect of life. He dispelled the fears and rumours that the party premiers were embroiled in bad blood.
Raila expressed his happiness in the fact that Wetangula and Kalonzo were still in the opposition contrary to the information circulating in the media that the trio was up for separation.
In the past one week, information has been circulating on social media that Jubilee was in advanced stages of rewarding Kalonzo, a move that was alleged to motivate him ditch the opposition to join the ruling Jubilee coalition.
Cord has also been battling with succession issues on who is to lead the coalition in the 2017 presidential elections.
