Kakamega Senator Bonnie Khalwale has attacked ODM Party leader Raila Odinga for applying double standards when fighting corruption at county level.
Speaking during an interview on a local TV station on Thursday morning, Khalwale who is also the Ford Kenya Deputy Party leader said that the should criticize Cord coalition-allied Governor just like he does for the ruling Jubilee Party county bosses.
"Odinga should come out clear when criticizing corruption. He should not be biased when it comes to opposition controlled counties," he said.
According to the former Ikolomani MP, who wants to unseat incumbent Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Kakamega County has been leading on corruption deals.
Kakamega is one of the counties on spot with the Auditor's Report saying that Governor Oparanya has a case to answer for not accounting for Sh. 8.5 billion allocated to the county.
