NASA leader Raila Odinga has blasted Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot for accepting to participate in the 'sham' election scheduled for October 26.Speaking during the opposition rally at Mama Ngina Grounds, Mombasa on Sunday, the veteran opposition leader chided Dr Aukot whom he accused of betraying them in their fight for free and fair elections in the country. "Other candidates had less than one per cent in the election that was nullified. They even conceded defeat. They now have less than 10 days to campaign. They are shameless to accept the offer with few days left," said Raila. The NASA coalition has maintained that it will not take part in the repeat election if their irreducible minimums are not fulfilled.Raila's statement comes just a day after Dr Aukot confirmed that he will take part in the repeat poll following the High Court ruling instructing IEBC to include his name in the ballot. Many political pundits argue that Justice John Mativo's ruling on the fate of the Thirdway Alliance leader has dealt NASA a major blow in relation to their decision to boycott the October 26 poll.
