NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has once again hit back at acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Mating'i over the recent stand off on the opposition's plans to adopt polling stations in a bid guard their votes.

While speaking in an exclusive interview on Monday, on Radio Jambo, Odinga questioned with what authority was Matiang'i objecting NASA's plan to adopt a polling station.

"Counting of votes should be public because it is a public affair, and Matiang'i should not be the one discouraging our people to guard their votes that directive should come from IEBC, Matiang'i is not the commissioner," said Odinga.

This is not the first time that Odinga has challenged Matiang'i to come clear on his stand regarding the August 8, polls. Last week while in Kibra the former Prime Minister challenged to declare his stand on whether he wants to be a politician or a State officer.

Odinga claimed that Matiang'i was treating IEBC's Wafula Chebukati and Ezra Chiloba as his order boys in the name of ensuring security in the country is maintained.
