Nasa presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has once again attacked the Jubilee government, over the high cost of living.
He said the cries being heard, by Kenyans over inflation rates and high prices of basic commodities, is as a result of Jubilee administration's incompetence.
Citing the heft debts Kenya has, and corruption cases, Raila said they were more than ever experienced.
''The Jubilee Administration has taken on unmanageable debt in the past four years, more debt than ever in our economy's history. And they have plundered our national cake through incompetence and corruption (SGR, NYS, Eurobond, Afya House Scandal and so on)'' he said.
In a communication, Wednesday morning, the ODM party leader these were the resaons for unprecedented inflation ''that has seen the cost of basic goods rise beyond what many ordinary Kenyans can afford. It's time to start afresh.''
''The Nasa team is ready to report on duty right from August 9th!'' he added, saying the current administration should be shown the door, for Kenyans to get relief.
On Tuesday, the Opposition leader noted many people did not realise the job of president of the Republic is that of the Chief Executive Officer of a country.
He said it was his job that ''you have to turn up to every single day without fail. When a leader sleeps on the job or fails to turn up, things go wrong.''
''The high cost of living is directly attributable to absentee leadership; the Nasa team promises a leadership that will turn up to work for you every single day,'' noted Raila.
