Opposition leader Raila Odinga has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of failing to address the plight of fishermen on Lake Victoria.
Speaking on Sunday during a public rally in Busia, the NASA presidential candidate noted that the Jubilee adminstration had failed to protect Kenyan fishermen from harassment by Ugandan authorities, calling on the locals to vote him out.
He further promised to reclaim the controversial Migingo Island should he win the presidency during the forthcoming general elections.
"Why did the President not address the issue of harassment of our fishermen when he came here? I will have to talk to President Museveni to allow our fishermen to do fishing without harassment," he said.
Raila's remarks were reiterated by his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, who urged the residents to elect NASA during the forthcoming polls.
"Jubilee should start winding up and leave. This will be a revolution because Kenyans are fed up with skyrocketing commodity prices," he said.
