[Photo|Raila Odinga]NASA leader Raila Odinga, joined the family of former Nairobi Mayor, the late Samuel Wainaina Mbugua, in laying their father to rest in Kiambu county, Friday. Mbugua is credited with negotiating the setting up of Nairobi housing estates such as Kimathi, Uhuru, Kariobangi South, Harambee and Umoja through affordable long-term loans with the World Bank.He is father to former Nairobi Woman Representative Rachel Shebesh. "Although we find ourselves on opposite sides of the political divide, death does not discriminate and affects us all regardless of political affiliation.
