NASA leader Raila Odinga should not attempt to visit Bungoma County until issues surrounding Moses Wetangula's oust as Senate Minority Leader are addressed, a Jubilee MP has warned.
The Ford Kenya leader is fighting a vicious war with NASA and had promised not to quit the position.
"If anyone thinks that he can initiate divorce in NASA, it will be noisy, messy and will have casualties," he said.
Although his fate remains unclear, Raila's ODM party was to meet on Monday to officially elect James Orengo as Wetangula's replacement.
But Kimilili MP Didmas Barasa insists attempts to oust Wetangula will backfire adding that Raila would remain banned from touring Bungoma until the matter is solved.
"We can't allow him to continue demeaning leaders from Western Kenya.
"In fact, let him not make attempts to visit Bungoma. He shall meet the wrath of our people," said Barasa at a function in Tongaren.
The MP is not new to controversy since at one incident, he was frogmatched by NASA supporters after similar remarks on Raila.
While ODM wing can still go on with the plans to evict Wetangula, Raila has however maintained that only NASA summit can remove the Ford Kenya leader.
