Infuriated supporters of embattled Borabu MP Ben Momanyi on Monday threatened to block Raila Odinga from visiting Nyamira over controversy surrounding nominations to PSC.
Momanyi is fighting to secure a nomination to influential committee despite vehement opposition from NASA leadership.
"Raila should not interfere with Wiper internal affairs. My name was fronted and should be respected," said Momanyi.
Already, NASA leadership has forwarded Mutula Kilonzo, Gladys Wanga and Aisha Jumwa with speaker Justin Muturi confirming another submission of Momanyi.
At Nyamira, NASA supporters led by John Kebaso vowed to clock Raila from touring the region until Momanyi is recruited to PSC.
"Raila must stop intimidating Gusii leaders. If Momanyi is not absorbed to the committee, we shall not tolerate him in Nyamira. He will remain banned here," he said.
After the nullification of August elections, Raila's first stopover outside Nairobi was in Nyamira, a county that he has controlled for years.
