[Photo: Raila Odinga]Opposition leader Raila Odinga joined friends and family to lay to rest the Kipsigis Council of Elders chairman, Mzee Isaiah Cheluget.He praised him, for being his closest advisor on matters of Kipsigis community, politics and issues arising in the South Rift region.Cheluget was a strong supporter of the Nasa presidential candidate and his ODM party, and campaigned for him in Kericho county and the neighbouring counties."Apart from being a great friend, Mzee Cheluget has been like a father who advised me on community relations, culture and politics," Raila said, Wednesday in Kericho."My prayer is that in his honour, we will continue fighting for the causes he championed in the interest of the community and the country. Rest in peace, my friend," he added.
