Speaking in Narok on Saturday where he was attending the thanks giving service for ACK Archbishop Jackson ole Sapit, Odinga said that since William Ruto's aide Farouk Kibet and close ally Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen had been named in the NYS saga, then he was to leave office and pave way for investigations.

"Both Kibet and Murkomen have named as prime beneficiaries of the embezzled NYS money. These two are close to Ruto and hence he should leave office and let investigations be undertaken. President Kenyatta should fire Ruto or explain to Kenyans if he is working together with Ruto to steal from Kenyans," said Raila.

He futher called on Ruto to stop his attack on others named in graft cases as his office had also been linked to corruption.

"Ruto should not be attacking others when his office has been linked to corruption in the country. This further explains why he (Ruto) has been able to splash money all over," added Raila.
