ODM leader Raila Odinga has postponed his tour of Lamu County to deal with nomination issues that have bedeviled his party.“It is true. Mr Odinga is not coming on Saturday due to unavoidable circumstances more especially concerning issues to do with party nominations,” Lamu ODM coordinator Zahara Shee told the Nation on Friday.According to the daily, the former Prime Minister was expected to hold a series of meetings with party delegates, opinion leaders and supporters from various parts of the county.He was also scheduled to hold a rally at Mkunguni Square as he seeks to rally the region to his Orange party and the opposition alliance, NASA.Also confirming the cancellation was politician Rishad Amana.He said the party leader will tour the region after addressing nomination issues in several counties.The ODM nominations will now run from April 13-25 in various counties.Already, there have been pockets of chaos in certain quotas prompting the party's election board to warn it's aspirants of dire consequences should they engage in violence.
