The two political protagonists are set to meet again in 2017 elections with Raila being keen to try his forth and perhaps the last attempt to clinch the top seat.

Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo-Marakwet) and Aden Duale (Garissa Town) on Wednesday dismissed chances of Odinga and urged him to retire from politics.

“President Uhuru has done extremely well on matters development and that is a fact which opposition is aware of. I do not see an instance where Raila beat Uhuru in a fair election,” said Duale.

“Kenyans are tired of continuous rhetoric which Raila is good at. This is the time to bring the nation together and Uhuru has done quite well. Raila should retire honorably because he can’t win,” added Murkomen.

On Monday, Kenyatta warned Kenyans against reverting to violence should a candidate lose 2017 election adding that he was ready to challenge the results legally should he lose.
