Kuria also argues that Odinga cannot be able to call for demonstrations and sustain them since people are ‘tired’ of him.

Speaking on Friday at his backyard, the Jubilee legislator urged Kenyans to remain calm since he had been ‘assured’ by Odinga that he will not hold demonstrations.

“I do not see the reason why people should tense that Raila is planning demonstrations against the government. He has lost support across the country and cannot sustain a demonstration,” he said.

“He is my friend and I take fish with him occasionally. He has assured me that he cannot manage to hold demonstrations because he does not have that capacity,” he added.

The opposition team had cancelled demonstrations scheduled January 4th this year to allow Senate deliberate on controversial amendment of the election laws which were passed by National assembly.
