Opposition leader Raila Odinga has been challenged to condemn corruption in the equal measure in counties under Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leadership.
Odinga has been critical of Jubilee administration, questioning its commitment towards fight against corruption.
And Nyansiongo MCA Jackson Mogusu has questioned the ODM leader over his silence on grand corruption in counties under Cord governors.
“Fighting corruption needs commitment and I am happy that he (Raila) has been very consistent in putting Jubilee government on toes because it is his responsibility,” he said.
“However, he should break his silence over grand theft going on in Cord counties such as Nyamira. He rarely speaks about the thievery and I think he is not genuine,” Mogusu added.
Recently, report by the controller of budget indicated that Nyamira MCAs used up to Sh63 million on tea and snacks in the financial year 2015/16.
Kilifi County is also on spot over suspected loss of Sh51 million from the county’s accounts.
