National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has accused the government of imposing a curfew in Lamu, Tana River and Garissa Counties as a means of creating voter apathy.

“Imposing a curfew in election time is suspicious. This is a ploy by Jubilee to scare voters… We want the government to lift the curfew three days before the election and on the election Day,” said Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka who was accompanying Oding in a tour of Lamu.

“Kenyans are dying here in Lamu. It is so ironic that we don’t have proper security in our own country yet we have deployed KDF in Somalia to seek peace. We, if elected into power, will bring back our soldiers so that they can secure our borders,” said Raila.
