Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi on Friday evening said there is nothing wrong that Raila committed in meeting the Head of State.

"Our two top leaders, H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta and H.E. Raila Odinga meeting today and agreeing to work together to unite this country is one of the greatest act of statemanship to be witnessed in this country," said Maangi.

Maangi urged critics to shun hatred politics for the country to move on.

"There is no permanent enemy in politics and I don't see any problem when Jubilee and NASA leaders unite to work together. We were all elected by the people who should have peace and unity but if leaders have differences the country will not develop and the economy is likely to be bad as investors will run away," added Maangi.

He called on other NASA co-principals to drop their hard stance and work for the sake of peace, unity and harmony among Kenyans.

"It's time NASA and Jubilee to drop their differences and work together. Kenyans want service delivery  such improved healthcare, access to good roads, improved security, good education for our children," he said.
