Opposition coalition NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga now believes that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) can conduct credible polls only if they are spared interference by the Jubilee government.
Odinga has been at the forefront in lampooning the electoral agency over their poor preparedness for the polls and their alleged bias towards their Jubilee rivals.
However in a strange twist of events, the former prime minister expressed his belief in the poll body saying they have all it takes to oversee a free and fair electoral process only if they will not be compromised by the government side.
"I have faith in the Iebc abd I believe they can conduct credible polls but only if they won't be pushed around by the Jubilee," he said.
The ODM supremo further dismissed claims that he plans to reject the outcome of the presidential results should he fail to be declared the winner saying he is a sportsman and will accept any outcome as long as it is seen to be free, fair and transparent.
Odinga was speaking during an interview with KTN on Friday.
