National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has been discharged from hospital hours after being hospitalised.
Raila who had successfully completed the Nasa campaign rallies in Kilifi county, Sunday, was rushed to a Mombasa hospital Sunday evening, over suspected food poising.
The former prime minister was later discharged from the hospital the same day after being checked by doctors.
Addressing the press in Mombasa after his discharge, the opposition leader affirmed he was in good health.
“I am as fit as a fiddle. I have been discharged to go back to Nairobi and be back in the campaigns,” said Raila.
“The doctors have looked at me, they said I am suffering from dehydration and so they gave me some water,” he noted.
“I am I good health,” he added.
The ODM party leader was in the company of his co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula. Also accompanying him were Siaya senator James Orengo and Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.
