Wamatangi alleges that Raila’s main agenda is to have a ‘Nusu Mkate’ government with Jubilee.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen Radio on Tuesday, the Jubilee senator claimed that Raila wants a coalition government but is afraid of saying it.

“NASA leaders are not interested in the repeat poll and that is why they are not campaigning aggressively as Jubilee is doing,” said Wamatangi.

Senator Wamatangi asked Raila to shelve any hopes of a coalition government with Jubilee stating that  the repeat poll presidential election will be held whether he (Raila) likes it or not.

“We jubilee are prepared for the repeat presidential poll which I am 100 per cent sure that Uhuru Kenyatta will win,” he said.

Wamatangi asked NASA leaders to stop creating political anxiety in the country and allow the IEBC to prepare for the repeat election as ordered by the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, the Kiambu senator Wamatangi has urged NASA and Jubilee supporters to tone down and shun activities that could cause violence.

He said that the heightened political temperature ahead of the repeat poll is a reason to worry about.

On Tuesday, Jubilee supporters held protests outside the Supreme Court and other towns across the country demanding for the swearing in of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The supporters claimed that they were robbed of their victory following allegations that Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu and Judge Isaac Lenaola allegedly communicated with NASA lawyers before and during the hearing of the presidential petition.
