Ugunja Constituency legislator Opiyo Wandayi has hit out at Garissa Township MP Aden Duale for engaging Raila over graft in CORD led counties.
Duale on Wednesday accused Raila of receiving 'monthly salaries' and stipends from Cord elected governors to finance his expenses adding that he was a 'ghost worker' in Cord Counties.
"We have evidence of how he (Raila) has been a ghost worker in all the CORD counties for the last three years. Let him respond and we will table the evidence,” Duale told Citizent tv.
But speaking in Odinga's capital hill office on Thursday, Wandayi lashed out at Duale over his remarks.
“Whenever Raila raises serious corruption issues, State House hatchet men and women led by Duale are sent to divert attention,” Wandayi was quoted on Citizen TV.
“We want to tell Duale that Raila doesn’t play in his league. Raila doesn’t even play in the league of Ruto. Only Uhuru can respond to him,” he added.
The claims by Duale have opened a new frontier for confrontation between the Jubilee and the opposition CORD.
