The President who is touring his Central Kenya backyard on Monday labeled the OD leader a ‘pessimist’ who had no interest of ordinary people.

“My government is determined to have improved infrastructure, health, education among other things by he (Raila) is always making political capital out of our projects,” he said.

“He is a pessimist without interest of people at heart. Every time we come up with a project, all you hear is politics which cannot change the livelihoods of our people. Time has come to drop these petty politics,” he added.

Odinga has been critical of Jubilee government and has occasionally questioned a number of projects initiated by Jubilee government among them Murang’a water project and construction of Itare Dam in Kericho.
