Opposition chief Raila Odinga has now claimed that Jubilee has already printed fake ballot papers in Industrial Area ahead of the October 26 presidential repeat polls.
Speaking on Wednesday during an interview with Radio Jambo, the former Prime Minister asserted that there was a systemic plan by Jubilee to stuff the ballot papers in boxes during the elections.
The NASA leader said that he had reliable information of the saga, pitting Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju and President Uhuru Kenyatta's chief agent David Chirchir.
“If you go there right now, you will find the papers. What they wanted to do is fill them and stuff them in ballot boxes and say these are the votes," he pointed out.
“That is one of the reasons we withdrew. These are thieves and we cannot go to an election whose outcome is already known," he added.
Raila said this, among other electoral malpractices informed his decision to pull out of the presidential race on Tuesday.
