Raila Odinga's ODM party may have after all fronted stylish Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho as its de facto presidential candidate in 2022.

Tuesday's swearing-in marked the start of fierce rivarly within the NASA coalition if at all Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo's remarks are anything to go by.

"ODM will soldier on without political cowards and nobody will compel us to pay political debts in 2022," she wrote on her Facebook.

Yet again, Joho has fought quite a number of battles, winning him admiration among NASA supporters.

And to give a clear picture on ODM's road-map, Odhiambo insisted that the party will back Joho for 2022 presidential race.

"We shall stand with Joho as a party in 2022 because he has proved his worth," added Odhiambo, a close ally of Raila Odinga.

Raila may have not expressed his dissatisfaction with Kalonzo Musyoka's absence from Uhuru Park but his lieutenants have openly criticised the move.

Although he is yet to openly declare Joho as his successor, a source within Orange House says the ODM leader is keen to endorse Joho at the 'right time'.
